About the work
Horizon Lines is an independent landscape photography project — a long-running study of terrain, weather, and the quality of light found in places far from cities.
The work favors early mornings and late evenings, when contrast is soft and the land reveals its quieter character. Most images are made on foot, often after long hikes to ridgelines, shorelines, or forest clearings that only open at certain hours of the year.
Subjects range from alpine zones and coastal shelves to desert basins and old-growth woodland. The approach is patient and minimal — no staging, no composites, just what the landscape offers in the moment.
